“Sweet and Slo-Mo” Sunday Sangha Class

Students have asked for an extra infusion of R&R this month and I am delighted to offer just that at what will now be a Sunday afternoon restorative class.  We will flow through a series of gentle asanas (postures) to stimulate circulation and encourage an opening of our entire body.  These slower, mindful sequences linking breath to movement are especially beneficial in stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, oftentimes referred to as the “rest and digest” division of our autonomic nervous system.  Class will include a brief meditation practice to center ourselves in our breath, and will conclude with a luxurious savasana (resting pose).  Please have a folded towel or blanket, bolster, yoga block, or meditation cushion within reach to ensure a meditation practice that is most comfortable.

Classes are $15 and payment can be sent via Venmo to SandyPauseYoga. All classes are listed in central (CST) time.
